A DRIVER has found the lifeless body of a young passenger on his bus in Spain.

For reasons not yet known 22-year-old died on the journey from his hometown of El Casar to the city of Guadalajara in Castilla-La Mancha.

The driver of the vehicle noticed that a young man remained inside the bus at the end of his journey and moved towards him to wake him up, supposing that he had fallen asleep.

When he tried to wake him up, the young man did not react and the driver called the emergency services.

An intensive care ambulance attended but the health professionals were unable to revive the young man.

An investigation will be held to determine the cause of death.
