Alleged murderers of a young man arrested in a Madrid suburb

AFTER being advised that a young man identified by the initials APC had disappeared from Rivas-Vaciamadrid, a suburb of the Spanish capital, an investigation was undertaken by officers of the Guardia Civil within the local vicinity.

Having determined that he was not in hospital or registered with any homeless centres, they came to the conclusion that he may have been abducted as he was thought to have been associated with the sale and use of drugs.

After interviewing a number of his known associates, it became obvious that statements were not trustworthy and officers began to initially suspect that one individual may have been responsible for his disappearance.

They visited the suspect’s house, taking with them a dog trained to identify biological remains and after the canine officer indicated that it had detected evidence of blood, a full scale forensic check confirmed that there was a large amount of remains of blood around the property with areas having been painted twice to try to hide the evidence.

Both the initial suspect and his room-mate were therefore arrested and it emerged that the suspected murderer had transferred belongings to a second property and on searching that property they found more forensic evidence as well as a note book mentioning a farm in El Pardo.

From there they identified another, supposedly  violent individual known as ‘Paco el loco’ who had been hiding under a false identity and on searching his premises discovered 12 pistols, a  crossbow pistol, cartridges, a large number of edged weapons as well as vests, handcuffs and identification badges of the Guardia Civil.

Subsequent to this, a fourth person was identified who it was believed was involved in the transportation of the body to the farm where it was dismembered and burned.

All of those arrested have been imprisoned and are between them charged with homicide, concealment of homicide, illicit possession of weapons and falsification of public documents.
