HIS showbiz career appears to be flying with his recent wedding due to be televised on ITV.

But Costa del Sol restauranteur and former The Only Way Is Essex star Elliot Wright, 36, was unable to board a Ryanair flight from Birmingham to Malaga with new bride Sadie Stuart, 24.

A source close to the couple told the Euro Weekly News that there was no plane on the tarmac as the newlyweds waited to fly back to Spain.

But airport officials told some travellers that the problem was due to the French air traffic controllers’ strike on Tuesday.

It comes as the pair’s big day is due to be screened on ITVBe in a two-part special entitled Elliot and Sadie: The Wedding after the first pictures appeared in OK! magazine.

Watch the show on October 15 and 22 at 9pm.
