A DISABLED boy rammed into a Russian cyclist in La Vuelta cycle race and Guardia Civil officers caused a spectator to be hit by a motorbike.

Maksim Belkov was sent flying over the advertising boards as a disabled spectator charged at him during his passage through Antequera in Malaga Province.

He fell to the floor but recovered within moments as the confused spectator was apprehended by police.

Belkov has since stated that he will take no further action, having learnt the boy had mental health issues.

A second incident saw an enthusiastic fan decide to run behind Madrilenian contender, Alberto Contador.

A Guardia Civil officer shoved him so hard that he fell on to the road and was hit by a motorcycle that was following behind.

The officer quickly hoisted the spectator back up and proceeded to tell him off.

Such occurrences are a regular trend in Spain´s biggest cycle race as star struck onlookers seek to get as close as possible to their favourite contestants.
