Driver shot by police in Marbella mix-up

A DRIVER was intercepted and shot by two local police agents after making a sudden manoeuvre in Marbella.

The young man has ended up in hospital after being shot by an officer. According to witnesses, the two local police had stopped the vehicle at 5am after it had turned at high speed from calle Calvario onto avenida Ricardo Soriano.

According to a police statement, the foot patrol had approached the vehicle with their weapons drawn as a precautionary measure.

For unknown reasons, one of the weapons was fired, and the motorist sustained a bullet wound to his arm. Following the gunshot, the young man drove off and made his way to the Costa del Sol Hospital where he was attended to. As of yet, no one has been arrested in connection with the event and it unclear whether the drive was permitted to depart the scene.

The National Police have overtaken the investigation and are expected to summon the Local Police officers for testimony.

Most likely the same 2 idiots that turned up in Costabella 2 years ago putting the victim in handcuffs and letting the criminal go free..
