A VETERINARIAN was sentenced to ten years in prison for drugging, and then killing his wife at his clinic in Alicante.

The man pleaded guilty to murder with aggravating circumstances, after attempting to hide the body in an undisclosed location.

A psychological profile concluded that the motive behind the murder was an ‘explosion of rage’ due to the husband having high levels of stress caused, in part, by his dependency on his wife.
