Fuengirola. (4, November, 2021)Fuengirola Potros American Football Team announced today they have added Norwegian American football leader Jeremy Meyer as the team’s new Director of Football Operations.

The Fuengirola Potros play in the Spanish first division or Liga Nacional de Fútbol Americano (LNFA) Serie A run by the Spanish Federation of American Football (FEFA)

Before joining the Potros in 2021, the 37-year-old Norway native worked as part of the team operations staff for USA Football and the US National Football Team for International Bowl X. He has been involved with teams including Citrus College Owls (SCFA), Occidental College Tigers (SCIAC) NCAA Division lll, Inglewood Blackhawks, SoCal Spartans, Los Angeles Outlaws (LCFL) California Quake (IWFL), and Los Angeles Lynx (WFA).

As Director of Football Operations, Meyer will head all operations related to
Fuengirola Potros – both front office and non technical – and will report directly to
President Carlos. As part of the club’s increased investment in football operations.

Meyer will also be responsible for taking the team and it’s brand International.
Meyer most recently has spent the last two years working within women’s football in
Southern Spain and Gibraltar, before getting the opportunity to return to his American
football roots with the Fuengirola Potros.

Meyer’s hiring signifies yet another commitment from the organization in the
long-term growth and stability of American football in Andalucía.
