Acts of vandalism have been condemned by the Nerja Town Hall.
The Nerja Town Hall has condemned multiple acts of vandalism. The events took place in various parts of the municipality. The Security and Youth Councils have called for civility, common sense and responsibility. They have stressed that these acts against public and private property constitute a serious crime that damages the image of Nerja. The care and respect for our streets and squares is a matter for everyone.
Among the acts committed are the vandalism of street furniture, damage to planters, containers, graffiti, as well as terraces, tables and chairs of restaurants and shops in the town centre.
The Local Police are making enquiries to determine who carried out the acts of vandalism. The police will hold this group of irresponsible individuals accountable.
The local police are asking for the collaboration of the public by reporting any evidence they may have seen or detected. This can be done by calling 952 52 15 45 or by contacting the Local Police Headquarters.
