Rincon de la Victoria to teach students the importance of caring for the planet

Rincon de la Victoria Council will teach 2nd-grade students the importance of caring for the planet.


As part of the Annual Environmental Education Programme, the environmental department of Rincon de la Victoria Council has planned a series of talks for 2nd-grade students during October and November to teach the importance of caring for the planet.
The Councillor for the Environment Borja Ortiz (PP) said that it is “an action that aims to make students aware of the importance of our actions in caring for the planet, remembering which are the main environmental problems and how we can help improve them.”
The mayor of Rincon de la Victoria Francisco Salado (PP) has highlighted “the interest and environmental commitment of this government team in continuing to advance towards a new model of life that is based on awareness and environmental education.”
The classes are aimed at 2nd-grade students and will focus on the importance of caring for the planet and its natural resources, recycling, the phenomenon of climate change and the important role that people play in stopping this process.
After the talks, group dynamics will take place.
All activities will be carried out with all the corresponding sanitary guarantees and measures.
The Councillor for Education of Rincon de la Victoria, Maria del Carmen Cañizares (PMP), highlights “the importance of involving the school community in issues as important and urgent as climate change.”
