Airport suitcase surprise that you will not believe. One family nearly had their holiday ruined. They made a surprise discovery when they checked in their suitcases at the airport.

Anyone with pets knows that suitcases tend to draw them in. As soon as you start packing, pets want to get involved and help.

Jared and Kristi Owens live in America. They were heading on holiday to Las Vegas for a few days. They thought they had everything organised until they tried to check in at the airport.

Everything was going well until the suitcases went over the weight limit. The airline worker asked them to distribute weight between the suitcases to hit the weight limits. The couple opened their suitcases to make a shocking discovery. They found a totally unexpected surprise. Their tiny dog had managed to sneak into the luggage and stay hidden.

The couple took to social media to share the amusing blunder. It could have ruined their holiday if not for a kind stranger.

The couple said: “We opened it up and literally our little dog came out of my boot with her head up. She’s the digger, that’s what she does. She hides in clothes and obviously now in suitcases.”

The family did not have time to head back home to drop the dog off. They would have missed their flight. Fortunately, a kind airline worker offered to help. The airline worker said that she would look after the dog while the couple went on holiday.

The couple explained: “She went out of her way and never made us feel like, you know, they could have ratted us out by saying we were trying to smuggle a dog into Vegas or something.”

Jared and Kristi enjoyed a stunning holiday in Las Vegas. They returned home a few days later and were reunited with their loving pet.
