Teen fatally injured at Glasgow train station. Police have launched a probe into the death of the 14-year-old boy.

Emergency services rushed to the train station in Glasgow after a teen was injured on Saturday, October 16. According to the police, the 14-year-old boy tragically died after the incident.

Emergency services attended the scene. The boy was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. He was announced dead at the hospital.

The boy’s family are being supported by specialist officers from the police. A probe has now been launched into the “shocking loss of a young life”. Police are calling on any witnesses to come forward.

DI Nelson of Greater Glasgow Division commented: “This has been a shocking loss of a young life and a significant investigation is underway.

“Specialist officers are supporting the boy’s family at this incredibly difficult time. Enquiries continue to establish the full circumstances and anyone who can help is urged to get in touch as soon as possible.”

“Those who were in the area at the time, or have information which may be relevant, can contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident 2280 of Saturday, 16 October.

“Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously to the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
