A Norwegian man has left multiple dead after a bow and arrow attack in the town of Kongsberg.
A man has gone on a rampage with a bow and arrow in the Norwegian town of Kongsberg, leaving multiple dead. Police units on the scene have not ruled out terrorism. Multiple bodies have been seen loaded into ambulances by the emergency services.
“The man has been apprehended … from the information we now have, this person carried out these actions alone. Several people have been injured and several are dead,” police chief Oeyvind Aas said- he declined to comment on the number of casualties.
Specially armed police cordoned off large areas of the town, a municipality of around 28,000 people in southeastern Norway and said that the suspect had been taken to a police station in the nearby town of Drammen but gave no other details about the man.
Twitter user ikke said: “There is a guy with bow and arrow shooting at people just outside my apartment wtf. Police and multiple helicopters are here.”
Andreas Fagerbakke wrote: “Several people killed and injured in Kongsberg, Norway. 60 km from where I live.”
Police across the country have been told to carry arms until an incident investigation has been carried out and terrorism can be ruled out.

Ron actually started his working career as an Ophthalmic Technician- things changed when, during a band rehearsal, his amplifier blew up and he couldn’t get it fixed so he took a course at Birmingham University and ended up doing a degree course. He built up a chain of electronics stores and sold them as a franchise over 35 years ago. After five years touring the world Ron decided to move to Spain with his wife and son, a place they had visited over the years, and only bought the villa they live in because it has a guitar-shaped swimming pool!. Playing the guitar since the age of 7, he can often be seen, (and heard!) at beach bars and clubs along the length of the coast. He has always been interested in the news and constantly thrives to present his articles in an interesting and engaging way.
Well we all wonder. Why no name!!?
