William and Catherine face heartbreaking decision with George and Charlotte as the anniversary of Princess Diana’s death draws close.
William and Catherine along with the rest of the Royal family are preparing to mark the anniversary of Princess Diana’s death on Tuesday. Diana died in a tragic car crash in 1997 on August 31. In light of the anniversary Prince William and Catherine are said to be deliberating over how much Prince George, eight, Princess Charlotte, six, and Prince Louis, three, are told about the tragic death.
Prince William has always ensured that his children know “who she was and that she existed”.
Speaking out as part of a documentary on Diana in 2017, called Diana, Our Mother: Her Life and Legacy, Prince William spoke of how he “constantly” tells the children “about Granny Diana” and how he ensures that the children know that “there are two grandmothers in their lives”.
A tribute will take place for Princess Diana this week at London’s Kensington Palace at the statue that Prince William and Prince Harry commissioned. The statue will be open to the public on Tuesday from 3 PM to 5 PM.
According to the Royal Palaces they: “will be providing access to the Cradle Walk which is essentially the beautiful walkway around the Sunken Garden”.
“We will be opening that up, freely available, for passers-by or anybody who wants to stop and take a moment on that Tuesday, specially for the anniversary.”
