Pool death shock in Spain’s Malaga as 60-year-old man drowns.
Sadly, a 60-year-old man has drowned in a swimming pool in Malaga’s Alhaurin el Grande, according to the Emergency Service 112 Andalucia, a service attached to the Ministry of the Presidency, Public Administration and Interior of the Junta de Andalucia. The death occurred at a farm in the Malaga municipality.
Officers from the Guardia civil were alerted by the 112 emergency services coordination centre at around 22.30 hours on Wednesday August 11. Reports had been received of a drowned man at private pool in the municipality.
Officers from the Guardia civil along with health services from the Junta de Andalucia rushed to the scene of the incident. There they found that sadly a 60-year-old man had drowned in the swimming pool. Unfortunately, there was nothing that could be done to save his life. At this point in time the circumstances surrounding the man’s death are not known.
In happier news, a young child was rescued from a balcony after being left alone in Spain’s Vera. The three-year-old girl found herself alone and had attempted to leave the house using the balcony.
The local police in Vera rushed to help a three-year-old girl who was left at home all alone. The house was located in the centre of the town, and the young girl had attempted to leave using the balcony after she woke to discover that she was alone and that the door was locked.
According to Europa Press police sources have confirmed that several neighbours had called to alert them to the child’s presence on Tuesday at around 9.00 hours. The neighbours explained that the young girl was trying to leave her home via the balcony. The girl had woken up and found that her mother was no longer there. It was a first floor balcony that she was attempting to escape by.
