Two naked young children found wandering alone at dawn in Spain’s Madrid.

In a suspected case of child abandonment two young children were discovered wandering naked and alone at dawn in Spain’s Madrid. The children who were rescued by National police officers were only aged two-years-old and four-years-old. There were discovered in the centre of Madrid.

According to the police the two children were spotted by a citizen security patrol as the youngsters wandered naked through the streets at around 6 AM. They were discovered in the Plaza de San Francisco, in the Centro district, as reported El Correo Web.

As soon as the children were rescued they were quickly taken to the health centre to ensure that they were safe and well. They were then handed over to social services.

When the children were being checked out to ensure that they were healthy a second citizen security patrol from the district headed to the children’s home. The second patrol discovered a woman who appeared to be drunk at the property.

Witnesses reported that the woman had only just arrived at the house. The woman had also allegedly said that she had left the children alone throughout the night and that now they were not at home.

The officers were quickly able to establish that the children that had been rescued wandering the streets of Madrid were in fact her children. The woman has now been arrested on suspicion of child abandonment.
