German tourist arrested for raping an unconscious Brit tourist in Playa de Palma

A German tourist has been arrested for allegedly raping an unconscious Brit tourist in Playa de Palma in Spain’s Mallorca.

National police officers have arrested a German man who is 40-years-old. The officers made the arrest on Sunday, August 8, after the man is alleged to have raped a 50-year-old female British tourist in Mallorca’s Playa de Palma.

As reported by Ultima Hora, according to sources close to the investigation the shocking attack took place early on Sunday morning. The attack also took place in the middle of the street and was witnessed by multiple people.

According to 20 minutes, several witnesses were able to alert the police that a man was attacking a woman. Witnesses said that the man was sexually assaulting the woman who was unconscious and lying on the ground. The woman was said to have been under the influence of alcohol.

The investigation into the alleged rape is ongoing. The detained man is expected to be brought before the courts sometime today, Sunday, August 8. The victim of the alleged attack has been taken to hospital to be taken care of.
