Estepona Chosen By Olympic Football Team Of Saudi Arabia.
THE Saudi Arabian Olympic football team have chosen Estepona as the place where they want to prepare for the Tokyo Olympic Games.
The mayor of Estepona in Spain’s Malaga, José María García Urbano visited the football team from Saudi Arabia. The team have made the excellent decision to carry out their preparatory training for Tokyo Olympic Games in Estepona.
The team are training at the Arroyo Enmedio sports facilities and are set to stay in the city until June 11. The team are also staying locally in an Estepona based hotel.
According to the Consistory, the team will play a series of friendly matches with other teams for their preparations in Estepona. They are set to play teams including Argentina and Mexico.
The Estepona mayor not only welcomed the football team members but also hoped that they enjoy their stay in the city “where, as well as first class sports facilities, they will be able to enjoy a stroll through one of the most beautiful old quarters in Andalucia or unique facilities such as the Botanical-Orchidarium Park.”
The mayor went on to thank the team for their choice of Estepona for their training, and the fact that they have specifically chosen to use the facilities of Arroyo Enmedio, “which offers them all the necessary facilities.”
According to the town hall Arroyo Enmedio: “has a regulation 11-a-side football pitch with natural grass, a building with changing rooms and shower area and a gymnasium where the teams can complement their physical training.”
