Endesa X and Jaguar Land Rover have joined forces to promote electric mobility in Spain.

Jaguar Land Rover and Endesa X have signed a collaboration agreement to promote the progressive introduction of electric mobility in Spain and which includes important advantages for customers of the British brand.

Thanks to this agreement, new Jaguar Land Rover customers who purchase an electric vehicle from the range will have a comprehensive and exclusive offer for recharging, a JuiceBox charger, which combines innovation and sustainability, with installation included and a price fixed in advance. They will also receive an extra year of warranty and three months of free recharges in Endesa X’s public recharging infrastructure network.

The agreement was signed on June 9 at the Endesa offices in Madrid in the presence of Antonio Ruiz, president and CEO of Jaguar Land Rover Spain and Portugal, and Jose Bogas, CEO of Endesa, together with Davide Ciciliato, the new general director of Endesa X.

Jose Bogas, CEO of Endesa, said, “Having a partner like Jaguar, in a key sector in our country such as the automotive industry, is a source of pride and helps us in our goal of increasingly democratizing zero-emission mobility and facilitating access to recharge. For the development of our recharging infrastructure plan, which we have been working on for more than two years, it is essential to have partners like Jaguar who share this path towards the decarbonization of transport and the fight against climate change ”

Luis Antonio Ruiz, president and CEO of Jaguar Land Rover Spain and Portugal, added, “This collaboration agreement represents a further step in Jaguar Land Rover’s strong commitment to electric mobility. At Jaguar Land Rover we are convinced of the urgency of sustainable mobility and we are the first to recognize that we have to make an effort as manufacturers to bring electric and hybridization technologies closer to the ordinary citizen. Specifically for our customers we want to provide all the facilities so that once they have bought one of our Jaguar or Land Rover vehicles with any type of hybridization, the installation of the charging point in their homes is as easy and agile as possible.”
