The Sun has exclusively revealed that DJ TOM Zanetti and Sophie Hermann have split six months after falling in love on E4’s Celebs Go Dating.

The couple’s romance appeared to be thriving in recent months, following Tom’s decision to join reality show Made In Chelsea in order to be with Sophie.

A source said: “It was a shock to everyone because they seemed so in love, but it was so intense meeting on CGD, then moving in together on MIC – it was a lot, very soon. “At the end of the day, she lives in London, he’s up in Leeds for his son, and while it worked when they were living together and on TV, it didn’t work out in real life.”

In light of their breakup. The pair has unfollowed one another on Instagram and erased all of their mutual photos.

However, a source told us that distance played a role in their split, with Sophie living in London and Tom in Leeds to be closer to his teenage son.

When contacted for comment, Tom’s representative declined to comment, while Sophie’s representative did not respond to The Sun’s request.

Sophie hinted at a break earlier this week in a new interview with Grazia, when she emphasized that her infatuation with Tom was not a relationship.

She said: “I wouldn’t call it a relationship anyway. We have never defined anything because we only had the time to see each other for a short amount of time.

“It was nice to see him again, and to actually be able to hang out.”

Tom revealed to his Made In Chelsea co-stars in April that he hoped for marriage and children with Sophie after meeting on the set of Celebs Go Dating earlier this year.

The cast of Made In Chelsea’s current series relocated to a luxury resort in the Suffolk countryside to film the show in a Covid-secure bubble.

Tom told Fredrik Ferrier and Ollie and Gareth Locke, while discussing their developing romnnce on-screen at the time, “It’s going extremely well; we’re having a great time.”

“She’s lovely person and a beautiful girl obviously. I think that she likes that I’m just me and I’m not trying to do anything to impress her. Underneath everything, she’s very soft.”
