Rincon de la Victoria hosts the Padel Albala Tournament. The Padel Albala tournament will be held on the 11th, 12th, and 13th of June at Torre de Benagalbón’s New Albalá Padel Club. The Department of Women and Equality is sponsoring the event, which will feature many stands of female entrepreneurs showcasing their products and business models.he 1st Albalá Padel Tournament for ‘Mujeres nicas’ will be held in Rincón de la Victoria. This is a ground-breaking program in the municipality, which receives assistance from the Department of Women and Equality. The competition, which will take place on the 11th, 12th, and 13th of June at Torre de Benagalbón’s New Albalá Padel Club, intends to demonstrate the strength and empowerment of women in business while also encouraging health through a sport such as paddle tennis, which has grown in popularity in recent years. Specifically, various matches will be held with prizes awarded to champions and runner up places. Additionally, attendees will have the opportunity to enter a raffle with prizes totaling more than 1,500 euros. For the Councillor for Women and Equality of the Town Council of Rincón de la Victoria, Elena Aguilar (Cs), “it is a perfect opportunity to promote a sport in which every day many women take the step and are encouraged to practice it. Every barrier overcome in accessibility and job opportunities is an achievement for society as a whole”. Pilar Morales, organiser of the event, assured that “it will be a weekend where the club opens its doors to everyone who wants to enjoy a fabulous seafront setting”, she added, who also wanted to “thank the Social Welfare Department and the sponsors for making this event a reality”.
