All the fun of the fair.

ONE of Torrevieja leisure sector’s biggest attractions is back, “with all safety and hygiene measures in place”, albeit briefly.

Torrevieja Fun Fair in the port area, in front of the Paseo de La Liberty, is once again open to the public until Sunday, April 18.

Likewise, La Mata fair in the Encarnacion Puchol square has also reopened until Sunday.

Torrevejense Industrial Fair Association (ATIF) has stressed that, due to the 10pm curfew established in the Valencian Community, the fair attractions will have to close to the public at 9.30pm.

“This important leisure sector was the last to be able to reopen after the State of Alarm decreed in March 2020, and it will do so again now with all the necessary safety and hygiene measures,” said Torrevieja Council.

Metre-high hydroalcoholic gel stand-up dispensers have been placed at all entrances to the fairgrounds, the use of masks is mandatory at all times, even when the safety distance can be maintained, and the attractions will be disinfected after each trip.

Torrevieja Fun Fair offers all the age old favourites, like the Ferris wheel, dodgem cars, carousel, octopus, bungee park, flying swings, haunted house and a roller coaster. There are slides, climbing frames and soft play areas for the little ones.
