ANDALUCIAN actress caught flouting Easter restrictions after asking Spaniards to be responsible over the holiday period
Literally, one day after publically asking all Spaniards to be responsible and comply with the Holy Week restrictions imposed by the government, Andalucían actress and comedian Paz Padilla was caught by authorities ignoring her own recommendations. The former clinical assistant at a Cazid hospital brazenly posted pictures on her Instagram account where she appeared to be enjoying a meal with her brothers on the beach in Zahara de los Atunes.
The comedian returned to the popular ‘Save Me’ show on Wednesday, March 31 after testing positive for Covid and becoming quite ill with the virus, according to Spanish news outlet El Periodico. At the time of her hospitalisation, Ms Padilla said: “I never thought it would happen to me, I consider myself young and I don’t have any disease.”
She has now been accused by many fans online of breaking the rules that she herself promoted on Holy Thursday’s edition of the Telecinco afternoon programme, after she was spotted, not in Madrid where she works, but in her native Andalucía.
Paz Padilla is a Spanish comedian, actress and presenter. After working as a clinical assistant at a Cadiz hospital, she became known from her part in the comedy contest Saque bola on the regional television channel Canal Sur.
Fellow comedian Dani Martinez has been quick to condemn Ms Dadilla on social media:
“Since you have skipped the perimeter and gone to another Community to ski, to the beach, to enjoy and enjoy … at least do not upload it to social networks so that those of us who comply with the rules do not feel like an A****LE . Since we look out for you, you look out for us”, Dadilla tweeted.
