Exploring the Essence of ‘CHO’: JAntho CHO Sheds Light on his Innovative Style of Music

JAntho CHO is an American singer, songwriter, rapper, record executive and entrepreneur. He is multi-talented, energetic, authentic and versatile. His music is influential and has made his name and presence echo all over the world.

How JAntho CHO started

JAntho CHO was born on the 24th of October 1996 in Kansas City, Missouri. He was taught Spanish from a young age and attended courses to broaden his vocabulary. At the age of twelve, JAntho CHO started making music, after single-handedly teaching himself how to play the piano.

He also started taking band classes in his earlier school years- an experience which he credits as highly valuable and influential to this day as it effectively enabled him to later kickstart his prominent music career. In Highschool, he gained a prolific amount of attention as a result of his unique musical abilities and started handing out CDs to a variety of persons and relatives around his school as an attempt to proliferate his eminence.

Having already built a robust fanbase from his aforementioned school years, JAntho CHO eventually began partaking in live shows in (and around) the Midwest. As a result, CHO immediately received significant attention from a variety of record labels and blogs.

In 2016, he released his first single and in 2017 he released his eminent ‘Cloud 180’ project. ‘Cloud 180’ was created to allow CHO to effectively share his own personal experiences with psychedelic drugs- as well as the power and enlightenment that he believes lies within them.

As briefly touched on above, JAntho CHO is a multi-talented artist. His dynamic lifestyle is based on psychedelics, psychology and philosophy. As a naturally altruistic individual, JAntho CHO has always ensured he did as much as possible to help those in need- including significant charitable donations and has consequently always felt that people have always had a visceral tendency to naturally gravitate towards him and his ways of guidance and healing.

What is the meaning of ‘CHO’ music?

‘CHO’ music is a mixture of conscious rap, soul, jazz, psychedelic, blues, alternative rock and r&b. This dynamic mixture is meant to reflect CHO’s own personally dynamic and multifaceted personality.

Unsurprisingly, CHO is a very spiritual person. This is because actively carrying out a plethora of spiritual practices has enabled him to ‘evoke’ his music to a finer extent and has consequently added a flavour of uniqueness to his artistic music that’s not commonly demonstrated by other music types in his field.

The Music JAntho CHO makes is unique, lucid and psychedelic. He sheds light on how psychedelics provoke the question of self-exploration and how they can better improve people’s lives. Within his music and his life, he tries to find a correlation between spirituality, philosophy, psychedelics and psychology.

What more is there to JAntho CHO?

JAntho CHO has been actively playing basketball since the age of 5 and loves playing soccer as well. From a young age, he had an immense love for video games and 90’s cartoons, and anime as well as travelling to cities like New York City, Houston, Los Angeles, and Austin.

In 2017, JAntho CHO made an appearance on Vans x Thrasher’s Scorchin’ Summer Tour at Penn Valley Skate Park Kansas City, Missouri. He has worked with the Canadian based company Montreality as well as with Soul and Peaches Magazine. He has been featured in a prolific amount of blogs, interviews and magazines.

In 2020, CHO managed to draft an agreement for a management and partnership deal with Guerilla Guild Media Group, a multimedia entertainment company and then later released his first-ever conceptual album called ‘CHOLo’ in 2020- produced by D-Lo the Doctor.

He has also regularly hosted live shows via his Instagram account since the beginning of the pandemic as a way of keeping in touch with his many fans around the world. Lastly, in 2018 CHO JAntho has recently founded his very own record label company called ‘Cloud Committee Entertainment LLC’, and has his own merchandise and online store on his website.

JAntho CHO will be releasing his new album in 2021 called ‘CHOLo Deluxe’ as well as his new project called Cloud 180 2 soon. We are very excited to hear that he is booked to perform in Las Vegas, Nevada April 17th and at the Lost But Found Festival in Byars, Oklahoma in October 2021.
