Cristiano Ronaldo Investigated For Covid Rule Breaking Birthday Trip.

VALLE d’Aosta Police are investigating the alleged violation of COVID rules by Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo and his girlfriend, Georgina Rodríguez.

Model Georgina Rodríguez turned 27 yesterday (January 27) and spent the day with 35-year-old Ronaldo in the Alpine town of Courmayeur, however, an investigation has been launched because the pair travelled between the regions of Piedmont and Valle d’Aosta – which forbidden by the restrictions in place because of the virus.

Cristiano, who was not part of Juventus’ squad in the Italian Cup match won 4-0 yesterday against Spal de Ferrara, decided to travel to Courmayeur to celebrate his girlfriend’s birthday, however, police were alerted to a since-deleted video on social media which may have proved their guilt.

In the video, the couple were filmed sitting on a snowmobile and Valle d’Aosta Police are trying to ascertain whether their movement between ‘orange zone’ regions in Italy, including Piedmont and Valle d’Aosta, was due to travelling to a second home or for work reasons as anything else is forbidden under the current government decree.

If Ronaldo is proven to have made the trip for invalid reasons, the likeliest outcome will be a fine.
