A BOTCHED nose job causes woman to loose both legs after having plastic surgery in Turkey.

The reputation of Turkey for dodgy surgery is growing as many seek plastic surgery at an affordable price, but often aftercare is a second thought. Sevinc Ceklik, aged 31, was only 25 years old when she made the life altering decision to have a nose job. She opted for a private clinic in Istanbul and underwent the two-hour surgery in May 2014.

After a “successful” surgery Sevinc left the hospital, but soon began to feel unwell and developed a fever. She kept her follow-up appointment at the hospital and had her nose cast removed, where the hospital allegedly insisted that she was fine.

Sevinc quickly felt worse and she was admitted to hospital with blood poisoning after her legs turned black. The family were forced to face the heart wrenching decision of removing both of Sevinc’s legs in order to save her life.

Sevinc after having lost both her legs is suing the hospital for nearly £100,000, although the hospital insist that the blood poisoning was a result of her eating bad chicken weeks after the surgery. A court decision is expected in April.
