RESIDENTS and staff at an Alfaz care home for the elderly have all now received the anti-Covid vaccine.
The doses arrived with a Guardia Civil escort on December 30 at the Anneke Residence, a private home whose residents come from the UK, Spain, Holland, Belgium, Germany and Scandinavia.
Like other Valencian Community care homes, it was chosen because it has been Covid-free throughout the pandemic.
“Today is a great step towards emerging from this situation, not only for our residents and team but also for their families and friends,” said Anneke’s director Duly Estruch.
“We couldn’t have wished for a better end to the year!”
