YET ANOTHER mystery monolith has appeared, this time in California

The plot thickens as a third mystery structure has appeared, this time at the top of Pine Mountain in California. Local news outlets in Atascadero report that the object, estimated to weigh 200lbs and standing at 10ft tall, appeared on the mountain on Wednesday, December 2, and local hikers have been flocking to the area to photograph it.

It appears to be made out of stainless steel and is different from its Utah and Romanian predecessors in that it is not attached to the ground. Officials in the area are aware of the obelisk, but haven’t yet determined what is to be done with it.

A similar structure appeared in a Utah desert on November 18 before being removed just over a week later. Similarly, a monolith that turned up in Romania on November 26 disappeared just four days later.

The mystery continues…
