GREAT Ormond Street Hospital Porter Charged with 84 Child Rapes and Sex Assaults Over a 35 Year Period.

A porter at Great Ormond Street Hospital has been charged with a total of eighty-four child sex offences, sources reveal. Fifty-five-year-old Paul Farrell allegedly groomed youngsters he met through his work at the world-renowned children’s hospital before going on to sexually abuse them.

Farrell is accused of a horrifying array of offences including rape, attempted rape and scores of sexual assaults on young boys reaching back as far as 35 years. It has been stressed that there is no present risk to children at the hospital. Farrell worked at Great Ormond Street Hospital, in Bloomsbury, Central London, from the mid-1980s until his arrest in January this year.

He is due to appear at North London’s Wood Green Crown Court tomorrow for a plea and directions hearing. Police are aware there may be a large crowd of angry parents waiting outside the court. Specialist officers from the Met’s the Central North Command Unit safeguarding team are liaising with hospital authorities as the investigation continues.
