LIVERPOOL forward Mohamed Salah, who missed his side’s 3-0 win over Leicester on Sunday, November 22, is set to return for the club after a negative COVID-19 test.
Salah initially tested positive on Friday, November 13, and actually tested positive for the virus three times during the recent international break in Egypt.
However, Liverpool’s top goalscorer with 10-goals could now return for the Merseyside club when they host Atalanta on Wednesday, November 25, after posting the negative test upon his return to the United Kingdom on Friday, when he and Arsenal midfielder Mohamed Elneny flew back to London from Hurghada International Airport.
The Egyptian superstar missed the African Cup of Nations qualifying double-header with Togo after the diagnosis earlier this month but is now free to return to training under Premier League protocols that say a 10-day isolation period is needed after the first positive test.
