Mercadona Recall Due to Salmonella Warning

THE FAMOUS Spanish supermarket Mercadona has issued a recall due to a Salmonella warning for ‘Paprika de la Vera Dulce’.

The recall is for ‘Paprika de la Vera Dulce’ made by Hacendado, Lote number L150719, with a best before date of October 2021. The Canarian Weekly reports that “Mercadona has decided to remove it immediately from their shelves for precautionary measures, after being informed by the health authorities of Aragon that this batch could contain salmonella”

Returning the product is easy and no receipt will be required at your local store. Both the supermarket and the supplier Orencio SL have apologised to customers.
