Almáchar Council has announced a second round of screening will be carried out at the covered pavilion on Monday, November 9, 8.30am to 2pm with “antigen tests to stop infections in the town”.
In this way, the “positives will be detected and the asymptomatic infected can be isolated”.
On Friday, October 23, tests were already carried out on some 300 residents.
As on the previous occasion, the tests are voluntary and people will be selected randomly by computer at Junta de Andalucía.
A message will be sent to those selected by the Health District on Saturday morning.
