SANTA POLA town hall’s Equality department intends to organise a minute’s silence each month, protesting against gender violence.
Held on the last Friday of each month, these will be attended by municipal employees and members of public.
“Owing to the present health situation, out of a sense of responsibility, these will have to be virtual protests, although not one victim will be forgotten,” a town hall statement declared.
“But once circumstances permit, the protests will be held in person.”
