ORIHUELA town hall, together with Axon España, organised a four-hour course on the use Tasers and police body cameras.
The course, which was held in the La Lonja Auditorium, was attended by 50 Policia Local and Policia Nacional officers from different Valencian Community areas as well as Murcia and Andalucia.
Orihuela’s deputy mayor, Jose Aix, and Public Safety councillor, Ramon Lopez, opened the event, thanking Policia Local officers Antonio Avalos and Oliver Riquelme for organising the talk and demonstration.
These were given by a team from Axon, the Arizona-based company which develops technology and weapons products for law enforcement.
