Earlier today, police in France confirmed to Reuters a third person – a 35-year-old Nice resident – had been arrested in connection with the suspected terror attack in which two others were also killed.
They were mother-of-three Simone Barreto-Silva, 44, and church worker Vincent Loques, 55.
Brahim Aouissaoui, 21, was previously arrested and a 47-year-old man was detained on suspicion of having been in contact with Aouissaoui, who arrived in Europe by boat in September.
Thousands of soldiers have been deployed to protect places of worship and schools in the wake of the attack.
Almost a fortnight ago, a teacher was beheaded in Paris after using cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad in a class.
