ITALIAN MP Vittorio Sgarbi thrown out of parliament for refusing to wear mask properly
Vittorio Sgarbi, an Italian MP, had to be forcibly removed from a parliamentary meeting in Montecitorio on Thursday, October 29 after refusing to wear his mask correctly.
According to Channel 24 reports, the deputy was called to order several times to correct his attitude, but the politician refused every time. He can clearly be seen in footage with the mask incorrectly placed on his face, only covering his nose and leaving his mouth mostly uncovered.
Even though Mr Sgarbi insists that he has a medical certificate that allowed him to be without a mask, he was expelled from the Chamber by several other officials.
Sgarbi took to Twitter to voice his outrage.
“I was expelled from Montecitorio. I do it to keep the others trained.”
Later, the deputy posted a picture showing him being carried out of the building by several parliament workers, screaming, with his mask around his chin.
“I’ll be back,” he tweeted.
