POLICE hunting fugitive double murder suspect have made the grisly discovery of yet another body.
Police have found the body of a woman on Thursday, October 29 on Newbody Comyn, near Leamington. This is just 11 miles from Coventry where the bodies of mother and son, Julie and David Williams were found murdered on Sunday, October 25 and Tuesday, October 27.
Now, police searching for murder suspect Anthony Russell fear this may be his third victim.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: “We are trying to establish if the discovery near Leamington today is linked to prime suspect Anthony Russell, 38, who we believe to be extremely dangerous and who should not be approached.
“Our officers have been hunting for him in connection with the killings of David and Julie Williams in Coventry.
“At around noon today, officers searching for a missing woman from Warwickshire found a woman’s body on Newbold Comyn near Leamington.
“We have information which suggests Russell may be connected to the death.”
A 36-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder and is in custody.
