Italy registers the highest daily tally since the start of the health crisis

ITALY registers the highest daily tally of coronavirus cases since the start of the health crisis, which totalled 26,831 over the past 24 hours.

According to Italy’s health ministry on Thursday, October 29, the number registered was the highest daily tally since the start of the health crisis and is up from the previous record of 24,991 posted on Wednesday, October 28.

Sadly, it has also reported 217 COVID-related deaths, which is up from 205 the day before.

Tragically, around 38,122 people have now died in Italy due to the Covid-19 and around 616,595 cases have been recorded to date.

Despite the number of cases and deaths going up, violent protests have occurred because of tighter restrictions being put into place throughout the country.
