VALENCIAN Community president Ximo Puig finally announces decree as it gets set to close its external borders as the Covid battle continues.

Puig announced the measures of confinement at a press conference on Thursday, October 29, stating a: “Decree [to] the perimeter confinement of the Valencian Community,” which “Starting tomorrow, Friday [October 30] at 12 noon, [means] it will not be possible to enter the Valencian territory or leave it, it will last for seven calendar days.
He continued: “The population will be able to move within the Valencian community, leaving the community with some exceptions, such as going to work, studying, taking care of dependent people.”
“If we adopt these measures it is because we cannot get any worse,” Puig declared.
“The situation is not worse thanks to the work of professionals” he concluded.
The Valencian Community was one of the few regions in Spain left without decreeing its perimeter closure despite it registering the second-worst coronavirus infection data since the pandemic began.
Residents in this community will be able to move freely among the 3 provinces; Alicante, Valencia, and Castellon.
