Breaking News – BENITACHELL Citizen Care Office closed after worker tests positive for Covid-19

The Ajuntament del Poble Nou de Benitatxell has announced on Wednesday, October 28, that their Citizen Care Office in Benitachell has closed after one of the municipal workers tested positive for coronavirus.

On their Facebook page, officials of the OAC in Carrer Les Escoles wrote:

“For health security reasons (and to proceed to disinfect) given the positive for Covid-19 of a municipal worker who has been notified today, the Citizen Care Office will remain closed from now, Thursday and Friday.”

However, the Policia Local in Benitachell have reported on Thursday, October 29, that the offices will remain closed until at least Monday.

According to the OAC:

“Appointments in that office are cancelled, and only the City Hall building (C/Mayor, 5) will be served with extremely essential procedures and appointment. It is recommended, as far as possible, to complete paperwork online.”
