BREAKING NEWS – AIRPORTS in Spain remain open despite regional perimeter closures

Airports in Andalucía have remained open despite the closure of its borders. President of the community of Andalucía, Juanma Moreno, has announced that the borders will be closed for 10 days.

Under the new restrictions, people will not be allowed to enter or leave the region without justifiable reasons, such as for work or caring for a dependent person. But in a surprising move, all flights in and out of the region appear to be operating as normal, as of Thursday morning, October 29.

Many users have taken to social media in the last few hours after it was announced that half of the Andalucían population of 4.3 million will be unable to leave their municipalities, wondering if flights have been cancelled.

The latest news shows that all flights into and out of the region are operating normally. We will update you with any developments.
