THE concept of Bookface has been around for some years and simply requires a person to create an image using a book cover as part or all of their face.
This year, the town of Deia is taking part as a tribute to International Library Day and invites local residents, young or old to create their own image which can in fact include any (polite) part of their body.
There are prizes of books and participants have until November 11 to submit their creation on Instagram, tag @ajuntamentdedeia and use the hashtag #saidbookface or if they don’t have that app, they can send the photo by mail to biblioteca@ajdeia.net with the subject line “# saidbookface. ”
Many celebrities have over the years taken part in this concept to promote their books and it is quite interesting to track them down to see how creative they are.
