Breaking News: UK Covid-19 deaths exceed 300 for second day

The UK has recorded 24,701 new cases and 310 deaths in the last 24 hours – the second consecutive day.

THE number of coronavirus-related deaths is down 57 on yesterday’s tally of 367.

This was the highest daily figure in five months.

On October 14, 137 people were recorded to have died from the virus, meaning the death rate has more than doubled in two weeks.
