Woman arrested on suspicion of murder in Croydon

A WOMAN has been arrested on suspicion of murder in Clyde Road, Croydon after a man was stabbed to death.

A 29-year-old man was found dead in a south London home at around 7.40am on Sunday, October 25 and a 35-year-old woman has been arrested and taken into custody.

Paramedics did their best to save the man, and an air ambulance was even called, however, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The woman, who has yet to be named, was arrested on suspicion of murder.

According to the Metropolitan Police, the crime scene remains in place and a murder investigation has been launched.

The victim’s next of kin have been informed, though he has not yet been formally identified.
