THE toddler died from a gunshot wound after accidentally shooting himself in the chest in Texas on Saturday, October 24, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office confirmed.

Officers were called to the child’s home in Porter, near Houston, just before 4pm, to conduct a “welfare check”.

“The child was rushed to the nearest fire station where he succumbed to his wounds. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of this tragic accident.”
