Netherlands has seen a significant rise in Covid-19 cases in 24 hours

THE Netherlands has seen a significant rise in Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, registering a record number of cases on Sunday, October 25.

In data released by the National Institute for Public Health (RIVM), it shows that the number of coronavirus infections in the Netherlands has jumped up by more than 10,000 in 24 hours.

Sadly, it looks like stricter measures introduced by the Dutch government on October 14, which included the closure of all bars and restaurants in the country, in order to combat the virus have not worked.

The RIVM report shows that they hit a new record of confirmed Covid-19 cases, by registering 10,203.
