Vox suspends negotiations of Andalucian budgets after its leader Santiago Abascal was criticised by PP’s Pablo Casado.

CASADO announced on Thursday, October 22, this his party would vote ”no’ to Vox’s motion of censure against PM Pedro Sanchez, and accused Abascal of doing nothing useful during the crisis.

He also said Abascal is using the motion as a platform to promote his candidate for the Catalan elections, Ignacio Garriga.

“The budget of the Junta for 2021 is totally in the air,” sources of the far-right wing formation told EL PAÍS.

The parliamentary spokesman for Vox in Andalucia, Alejandro Hernández, had given his support to the regional accounts several weeks ago, but has suspended the planned meeting with the Minister of Finance, Juan Bravo.

Abascal, who said he was “perplexed” by Casadao’s critical speech, stated he will continue to support the regional governments of the PP supported by Vox.

Sanchez announced he would “stop the clock on the reform of the General Council of the Judiciary”, and urged PP to try to reach an agreement to “renew the Judicial Power, the Constitutional Court, the Ombudsman”.

The motion of censure presented by Vox swas defeated after failing to receive enough support.
