Giuliani dismisses Borat hotel scene as ‘a complete fabrication’

TRUMP’s personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani dismisses Borat hotel scene as ‘a complete fabrication’.

Trump’s personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani has hit back at claims that he was filmed in a highly compromising situation for Sacha Baron Cohen’s new Borat movie as ‘a complete fabrication’.

Giuliani was filmed in the Mark Hotel in New York City in July where he was tricked into giving a fake interview with an actor playing Borat’s daughter, posing as a TV journalist. In the footage, the former New York Mayor appears to recline on the bed and put his hand down his pants.

An outraged Giuliani took to Twitter to denounce the scene as ‘a complete fabrication’.

“I was tucking in my shirt after taking off the recording equipment. At no time before, during, or after the interview was I ever inappropriate,” he said.

“If Sacha Baron Cohen implies otherwise he is a stone-cold liar.”

Giuliani told the New York Post that he thought the hotel meeting was a serious interview about the Trump administration’s handling of the coronavirus pandemic.

“As soon as I realised it was set up I called the police,” said Giuliani, who has acted as President Donald Trump’s lawyer since 2018.
