THE CLC World Foundation based in Mijas has once again made a donation to the Spanish Association Against Cancer of Mijas-Fuengirola (AECC) in recognition of World Breast Cancer Day which took place on October 19.

The presentation of this cheque for €3,000 symbolises the constant support of the organisation from Mijas to women who suffer from this disease and reminds them that they are not alone as there are thousands of people by their side.

Whilst accepting the cheque, representatives of the AECC said “This amount will be used to cover the day-to-day needs of the group in terms of psychological, social and therapeutic support. Likewise, due to the health crisis situation we are suffering, many patients request direct financial aid to cover basic treatment needs”.

More than 100 users come every week to the headquarters of this association to receive assistance either in person or through the workshops and online activities organised by the group.
