Alongside the potential curfew, the local government has announced a range of increased restrictive measures such as the number of people able to socialise both inside and outside will be reduced in the areas of Seville, Córdoba and Jaén.

The use of masks will now be extended to those exercising and hospitality is taking further hits to their premises as diners will only now be allowed to remove their mask when consuming food or drink.

A screening and new mobility reduction strategy is also being implemented in Almería, Córdoba, Jaén, and Seville.

Discussions will be held today regarding the use of curfew measures and further clarity will be given on the times of curfews.

The Andalucian government will however have to wait for judicial authorisation from the Superior Court of Justice of Andalucia (TSJA).

Once meetings between the Ministry of Health and the autonomous regions have concluded the government will produce and release a new BOJA which will identify the full range of restrictions however it is expected that the curfew will last from 11pm until 6am with members of the public not allowed to go outdoors during these hours.
