New Documentary Reveals Princess Diana said Charles should step aside and let Prince William succeed the Queen

Princess Diana said Charles should step aside and let William succeed the Queen, a new documentary has revealed.

Princess Diana described the “hatred” she had for Prince Charles and went on to say that their marriage was “hell from day one” in the interview taken from the new documentary.

The Princess originally made the startling claim that Charles was not fit for the throne during an interview with Daily Telegraph editor Sir Max Hastings. Their conversation came before her infamous interview with Martin Bashir on BBC’s Panorama in 1995, when she made bombshell claims about her husband’s alleged infidelity, saying,  “there were three of us in this marriage so it was a bit crowded”.

Sir Max decided to “keep a lid” on their conversation but it has now finally been revealed 25 years later in a documentary- Diana: The Truth Behind the Interview. He said Princess Diana had driven to meet him in Berkshire and poured her heart out to him three months before the Panorama interview. As well as revealing intimate details of her own private life and her husband’s affair with Camilla Parker Bowles in the Panorama interview, Diana indicated she did not want to become Queen of England.

According to the Channel 4 website, the documentary- Dianne: The Truth Behind the Interview, is going to be broadcast Tomorrow at 11:00 pm Spanish time on Channel 4 HD. Please check your UK TV guide for more airings and Channels.
